use water craft on UK's waterways, rivers, lakes, etc. Not all inland
water is open to paddlers, some are privately owned or is bounded
by
land which is private, so do check beforehand. Membership of a
canoe union / club is very beneficial.

Hermetic
bags
NERIS ZelGear heavy duty waterproof dry bags, duffle bags,
back packs, and pouches
Made
to last, these hermetic bags are designed to withstand
heavy abuse when wild camping in abrasive locations (EG
sharp rocky ground) or when on extended expeditions in
hostile environments (EG freezing weather). Create your
own colour code system to clearly identify the type of
contents in the bags, so that once you have determined
the best packing layout together with the best bag sizes
for your kayak, you will know where everything is to be
packed when you set off on your paddle in a hurry. Clear
packing organisation helps you to locate items quickly
and ensures that your kayak is also finely balanced laterally
and trimmed longitudinally in the water, especially when
there is lots of kit to take with.
