contractors cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage, injury or death
is the customer's responsibility to ensure they have sufficient knowledge, skills
and equipment for the activity they have chosen to partake in. Ensure you are
familiar with all the relevant safety practices and procedures for your equipment
and for the location in which you are using it.
NERIS ZelGear kayaks / replacement skins:-
There is a five (5) year warranty on all Neris ZelGear kayaks, catarafts and
replacement skins. The warranty starts from the date of purchase by the original

On receipt of your order, you must fully check the delivery for defects ASAP
(ideally within a week after delivery) and provide a feedback report together

In the event of a manufacturing defect, the manufacturer will either repair

the repaired or replaced part, postage paid, to the customer within a reasonable
period of time. Proof of purchase may be required. We will liaise with the
respective factory to have problem/s resolved etc.

upon request. Return shipping costs to ourselves or to the respective
factory (EG NERIS - Ukraine) are the responsibility

Since kayak or catamaran is a very durable product and can withstand
many years of normal use, this warranty does not cover damage
from misuse, improper care, accidents or normal wear and tear.

- Commercial or military use (warranty is 1 year).
- Use of the boats in shallow water where sharp stones
and other underwater features can damage the skin and frame.
- Drag and drop boats on any dry surface.
- Towing kayak or catamaran behind a motorised boat.
- Damage that occurred whist sending products without a reliable packaging.
- Overloading the kayak or catamaran exceeding the recommended weight limit.
- Storage of kayak or catamaran whilst not fully-dried.
- Store kayak or catamaran, whilst not in actual use, in direct
sunlight over an extended period of time

Cancellation & Return
Other products sold on this site but not made by Neris.
Warranties is as provided by that supplier / manufacturer and
should be stated on the respective packaging. Report any defects
to us and we will consider replacement etc on a case by case
the order before we dispatch (Kayaks,
catarafts, replacement skins and accessories)
You must email us ASAP as we may dispatch well before the quoted delivery time.
Refund will be less 2% Cancellation Fee of the total order.
We may, under exceptional circumstances, waiver the Cancellation Fee (less
any PayPal / bank fees incurred) if the kayak ordered is a standard boat of
a popular colour. Higher value boats such as rafts may be waivered where sufficient
notice has been provided (EG before dispatch from the factory).
Once dispatched, the below 30 Day Return policy applies.
Dispatched & After Delivery – 30 Day Return Policy (Boats
We will accept returns provided the kayak / replacement skin is of a standard
configuration and has not been placed on water / rough surfaces / or damaged,
and that the request is sent to us via email
within 30 days after the delivery of the boat (Delivery Date will be as recorded
on the courier tracking system or as when collected).
If the kayak or replacement skin is NOT of a standard configuration
(EG specially custom made to order to your own specifications) and there is
a high probability that that kayak / replacement skin cannot be easily re-sold,
due to your chosen technical specifications / features / colour selections,
we cannot guarantee that we will accept that return.

You must receive
a Return Authorization number along with shipping instructions
prior to sending the complete order back. Print out and complete
the Return Authorization Form (we will provide you with a web
link). Include this form with your shipment, writing the RA#
on the outside of the package.
It is your
responsibility AND COST to return the goods to us. We are required
by law to make this clear before you purchase. THIS IS NON NEGOTIABLE
- WE WILL NEVER COVER THE COST OF THE GOODS TO BE RETURNED. Once
the purchase has been received and inspected by ourselves as
being new with no faults, we will then arrange the refund accordingly
within 48 hours. We reserve the right to charge for any items
found damaged – this will be at the same cost as per normal
repair / replacement request.

Canceling Replacement Skins and custom 'made to
order' kayaks orders
The replacement skins and custom boats are all specially hand made to order
on request. Once the order has been prepared on the factory floor (IE material
cut in preparation to make the skin), the order cannot be cancelled and refunded

the event of popularly requested replacement skins and custom made kayaks,
that above cancellation policy for kayaks and accessories applies.
The refunded amount will take into consideration of the costs incurred to date
in respect of that order, plus cancellation fee of 5%.
Custom kayaks are those other than STANDARD production kayak - IE where
specific features (keel strips, loading hatches, paddle pockets etc) or hull
material type (lightweight / heavyweight PVC), or non-standard colours have
been requested to be used, added or left out.
Refund payment method
Refunds will be done in the same way as the original payment received. IE -
paid via cheque will be refunded via cheque, paid via PayPal will be refunded
via PayPal, etc.
